First, I will be holding a Social Skills Workshop during Spring Break from March 29 - April 1.

Second, I am offering inclusion services in conjunction with Camp Straight Street, meeting at Cherrydale Baptist Church, from July 5 - 9 and 12 - 16 this summer.

I also have a few openings in my social skills groups that meet on Saturdays, also at CBC in Arlington.

The kids and I had so much fun! Here are just a few of the activities we did this summer (of course, they varied according to age and ability):

1. Water fun: swimming, water balloon fights, shaving cream art, running through sprinklers

2. Arts and Crafts: musical instruments, motorboats, rocketships, origami animals, jewelry

3. Cooking: strawberry-banana yogurt splits, 3-ring circus, swimming pool, s’mores, airplanes, butterflies

4. Games: tag, SPUD, duck duck goose, sharks and minnows, all kinds of board games

The summer session finished up last weekend and now it’s time to sign up for the fall! The major focus of the fall will be making & keeping friends, and what to do with friends/classmates during free time: on the playground, at recess, during lunch, and after school.
